Email infrastructure

Email infrastructure is the set of systems that generate, queue, transfer, and deliver email: applications, message queues, MTAs, IP addresses, DNS records, authentication keys, and the monitoring around them. Organizations either rent it (via an email service provider) or run it themselves (self-hosted MTAs), and commonly operate a hybrid of both.
