MailOps engineer / deliverability engineer

A MailOps engineer operates email sending infrastructure: MTAs, queues, IP pools, authentication, monitoring, and the automation around them. A deliverability engineer or deliverability manager focuses on reputation, provider relationships, and sending practice. In small teams one person wears both hats; the roles converge on the same goal, mail that arrives.
